The opportunity:
This is a 12 month fixed-term contract role
Reporting to the Retention Team Manager, you will be responsible for retaining customers by understanding their key barriers to activation & engagement and lapse drivers and identify the best interventions to overcome these barriers in order to inform scalable solutions.
The role’s purpose is to provide support to business growth, profitability and retention through pro-actively servicing customers. This will be achieved by focusing on high Customer Solutions and ensuring our customer needs and services are prioritized.
To do this successfully you will:
- Identify areas to improve processes – demonstrate productivity habits
- Extract the ‘why’ driving customer behavior through conversations with customers in key identified touchpoints.
- Identify, test and recommend scalable and sustainable solutions to retain customers going forward, including but not limited to communications, technology and process change.
- Deliver responsive, enterprising and efficient service to our clients and business partners to increase customer loyalty and enhance AIA’s reputation in the marketplace.
- Work in a team environment by developing and maintaining professional relationships with colleagues that support the achievement of team goals and objectives.
- Redirect personal and business customers to alternative service delivery channels or product offerings, by showing them better ways to do business.
- Support development of and execute pilot retention campaigns as prioritised by the Enterprise Retention team.
- Take ownership in the moments that matter across the employee lifecycle
Successful applications will demonstrate:
- Proven quality customer service skills and experience, ideally within a Retention environment
- Excellent level of product and industry practice knowledge, ideally across both Life Insurance and Superannuation and Investment products
- Experience in the provision of limited advice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly developed skills in investigation and attention to detail
